Supreme Court decision in Agnew
The Supreme Court recently gave its judgment in the case of Chief Constable of the Police Service of Northern Ireland and another v Agnew and others [2023] (“Agnew”) in which it held that a three month gap between underpayments of holiday pay does not automatically break a series of deductions, as had previously been held, and that Claimants may still be able to claim for pre-gap deductions if they form part of a series.
