Tympa Health Technologies secures $23m to fund global expansion

Tympa Health Technologies, experts in hearing and ear health, has secured $23 million in Series A Funding from Octopus Ventures.

‘The Tympa’ is the world’s first all-in-one ear and hearing healthcare assessment platform. It brings together three different diagnostic and treatment tools into one hand-held portable system, allowing fully digitised comprehensive ear and hearing health assessments to be performed across both traditional clinical and community-based settings, increasing cost-effective access to care and supporting earlier disease detection.

With this funding round, Tympa Health Technologies is growing its team and services in the UK, across Europe and entering into the US.

The Tympa Platform allows a much broader range of professionals to perform digital otoscopy, microsuction wax removal, and hearing assessments. Tympa’s comprehensive examination is digitally captured in a single hearing health record, which can be shared between patients, providers, and specialists seamlessly.
