Insolvency expert Nicola has over 10 years’ restructuring and insolvency experience having worked with a wide variety of clients ranging from insolvency practitioners and litigation funders to corporates and their directors. She advises on a variety of restructuring, recovery and insolvency issues and has extensive experience in contentious insolvency work. Nicola is also a qualified insolvency practitioner having obtained a first time pass in the Joint Insolvency Examination Boards (2014).

Stephen Scott is a partner in Shakespeare Martineau’s real estate disputes team. He is based in our London office but also spends time in our Nottingham office (his home town). Stephen loves getting to know clients’ businesses and helping them to achieve their strategic aims. He finds it fascinating that he is able to play a role in developing a piece of real estate which can have a transformative effect on a neighbourhood or a city or region.

Susannah is a partner in our team based out of our London and Milton Keynes offices, within the Commercial Property and Development team, focussing on real estate finance, family offices and luxury assets.

Susannah advises clients on a wide range of real estate finance and property matters, including advising family offices and bridge lenders. Susannah represents both lenders and borrowers on all levels of secured funding, ranging from overdraft facilities of £100,000 to refinances and acquisitions, involving secured, bridge and development finance.
