This session will look at the key issue of post-termination restrictions in employment contracts and the key points to keep in mind when drafting these, to ensure you are in the best position to argue enforceability if an employee leaves and seeks to cause damage to your business with competitive activity.

Also, with more and more employers facing issues with employees planning team moves and looking to take colleagues to join competitors, what can be done to stop this and what provisions should you be looking to include in your employment documents?

Having good clauses in your contracts is one thing, but how do you go about enforcing restrictions if you believe an employee (or former employer) is breaching them?  We will also be joined at this session by a colleague from our Commercial Litigation team, to look at court action to enforce restrictive covenants and the key issues that a court will look at.
