As Covid restrictions are being lifted, the Lord Chief Justice has announced that in the civil and criminal courts, there will be a return to ‘in-person’ hearings as soon as possible. However, this does not apply to Employment Tribunals and for now the default position remains that CVP hearings should be the norm.
