Commercial Contracts Case Law Update
Stay ahead of the latest developments in English contract law with a roundup of the cases reshaping how agreements are interpreted and enforced. This session will equip in‑house counsel with practical insights to strengthen drafting, negotiation and risk management.

Data privacy and protection
Artificial intelligence is changing every stage of the data subject access request process- from how individuals submit requests to how organisations identify, review, and redact personal data at scale. This session will explore the practical impact of AI on DSAR handling, examining both the opportunities for greater efficiency and the new risks and challenges that come with automated processing.

Employment and immigration law update
From 1 October 2026, Section 48 of the Border Security, Asylum and Immigration Act 2025 will extend right to work check obligations beyond traditional employees to include a wider range of workers, contractors and labour supply arrangements. Businesses should act now to review their compliance processes and understand the potential penalties and risks associated with non-compliance. We will also be focusing on the latest employment changes under the new Employment rights Act, including the forthcoming reduction of the service requirement for unfair dismissal (from two years to six months) and the implications this will have for employers.

Soft skills: Communicating with Impact
This highly practical conference session helps delegates to communicate with greater confidence, clarity and impact – especially under pressure with senior stakeholders. Focussing on immediately useable tips and techniques, delegates will use a practical communication framework that can be used to structure messages effectively, explore techniques for increasing personal impact and executive presence; take part in practical communication exercises and build confidence through practice in a supportive (and fun) environment.
