Sarah Johnson

Sarah is a newly qualified solicitor in the energy team. She has a strong interest in the sector, and has an LL.M in Energy and Climate Law.

Sarah uses her enthusiasm and initiative to work closely with senior members of the team to deliver on what matters for clients. Sarah works with the Electricity System Operator and has a good knowledge of the Connection and Use of System Code and the Grid Code which she is able to use when advising clients. Sarah has also assisted with advising on:

– Power purchase agreements (including private wire arrangements);
– Grid connection agreements;
– Regulatory compliance (including compliance with energy legislation, regulations, licences and industry codes); and
– Renewable energy projects (including wind and solar).

Outside of work as an energy solicitor, Sarah volunteers as a unit leader with Girlguiding UK, creating a space for girls to have fun, learn new things and grow their confidence.
