Jill Briggs

Jill Briggs is a Partner in our specialist Residential Development team. She is an expert in acquiring sites for PLC housebuilders and large regional residential developers and is known for her proactive and collaborative approach to complex transactions.

Jill is a real estate lawyer with many years of experience working in the housebuilding sector where she has represented most of the top 20 national housebuilders, alongside large regional developers and promoters. She has extensive expertise in all aspects of the acquisitions process, both immediate and strategic land. She regularly deals with a variety of transaction types including conditional contracts, strategic options, promotion agreements, regeneration schemes, multi-party collaboration agreements and overages. She has particular expertise in acquiring heavy industrial sites for regeneration.

Jill adopts a forward-thinking approach to real estate deals, readily providing guidance on heads of terms and deal structuring to facilitate seamless progress from the very beginning.
