Farhana Fayaz is a solicitor in the Court of Protection team at Shakespeare Martineau. She has over 12 years’ experience in Court of Protection work and working with vulnerable clients and their families.

Farhana qualified as a Solicitor in April 2019.

Farhana’s particular area of expertise is dealing with Court of Protection work and advising regarding various applications including: deputyship applications, statutory will applications, statutory gifting applications, Re ACC applications and Trustee applications.

This area of work is particularly attractive to Farhana as the workload is so varied so no day will ever be the same. Farhana likes to be able to communicate with vulnerable clients and be part of their lives on a long-term basis.

The most fulfilling aspect of my role is the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on client’s lives, whether by helping them manage their finances more effectively, supporting them in purchasing their forever home or overseeing significant projects such as property adaptations.
