Championing breadth and diversity of services
From the 53 practice areas we ranked in, we achieved a Top Tier Firm status for 14 of them.
Some areas reached top tier for the first time. Our deep market insight of the commercial IP sector in the East Midlands has elevated the team to tier 1 and our corporate and commercial team in the East Midlands was also recognised with a tier 1 ranking. The contentious trusts and probate team at Lime Solicitors also rose to tier 1.
We have gone up a tier in six areas of law overall:
- IP - East Midlands
- Corporate and commercial - Elsewhere in the East Midlands
- Islamic finance – London
- Contentious Trusts and Probate – East Midlands
- Commercial Litigation – Elsewhere in the East Midlands
- Insolvency and recovery – West Midlands
Outstanding client feedback
We’ve also had some incredible feedback this year – far more than previous years.
Here’s just some of the comments made across the board by our valued clients. These are published on the official Legal 500 results site:
-
‘Nothing is too much for the team. A very professional, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable team, who is happy to explain any complicated matters’.
-
‘The team is dedicated to the sector and is committed to delivering exceptional client service. As a firm throughout the pandemic the lawyers were quick to mobilise technology to stay connected to clients and the wider community’
-
‘The team we work with are characterised by enthusiasm for the job, and give excellent value for money. They are always happy to quote fixed fees where appropriate, and to stick to them. We have worked for many years with the planning team, going through a very difficult Judicial Review of a major mixed-use planning permission as well as several Section 106 agreements of varying complexity. Their professional expertise is of the highest order.’
-
‘The team was accessible and able to explain things in a manner suitable for the audience. This is an important and key element to provide reassurance and support when a significant claim is in progress.’
-
‘The whole team are dynamic and approachable and always have their clients’ best interests at the centre of their work. They also have a very good spread of seniority and specialism within the team which means they are fully able to manage all things sent their way.’
