Net Zero
Ampa Group's near and long-term science-based emissions reduction targets were approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in July 2026.
We are committed to reaching net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across our full value chain by 2050, achieving a 90% reduction in scopes 1, 2 and 3.
We have also set ambitious near-term targets for 2031. Further detail is included in our Climate Transition Plan.
To measure progress against our targets, we calculate and report on our GHG emissions annually within our Impact Report.
Our 2024-25 financial year forms our baseline and has been verified at the limited level of assurance to ISO 14064-1:2018.
Climate Transition Plan
Our roadmap for achieving these targets is set out in our Climate Transition Plan which has been developed in line with the Transition Plan Taskforce (TPT) Disclosure Framework.
As well as setting out a clear action plan to reduce our emissions, the Plan also supports our ambitions to build a more resilient Ampa Group and contribute to wider economic and societal transformation.
We published our first Climate Transition Plan in September 2026 and will review and update the plan every three years, in line with TPT guidance. Progress against our targets and action plan will be reported annually within our Impact Report.
Driving Climate Action
Net Zero Heroes
To support the development and delivery of our Climate Transition Plan, we have established our Net Zero Heroes group. They are key stakeholders from across Ampa Group with accountability for operational and supply chain projects set out in our Plan. They are also responsible for ensuring actions and decisions in their respective areas of the business are aligned with our climate ambitions.
Climate Action Beyond our Value Chain
Whilst the focus of our Climate Transition Plan is to reduce emissions across our operations and value chain, we also support global climate action through the purchase of high-quality carbon credits. We do not use our credits to offset our emissions, but as part of our commitment to maximise our impact beyond our own value chain.
Working with Climate Impact Partners, we support a balanced portfolio of projects each year that consider location, permanence, co-benefits and technological maturity. Detail on the projects we support can be found in our latest Impact Report.
Collective Action
We are active members of the Legal Sustainability Alliance, a group of legal firms coming together to share best practice and work collaboratively to take more efficient and effective action on climate change.
Our 24/25 Impact Report
The Ampa group has published its latest impact report, recording the wider group’s achievements and progress to date, since the relaunch of its responsible business programme last year. Making more than 30 pledges to its people, planet and local communities, the group has seen significant improvements in its commitment to increasing diversity at a senior level, reducing its carbon footprint and offering career development opportunities to under-represented groups.
