Claire Burrows

Claire is highly regarded for her straightforward and commercial advice and is entrusted by clients to steer them through difficult and often sensitive disputes through her hands on and empathetic approach.

Claire is a highly experienced litigator who works with corporates and high net individuals to manage risk and resolve a variety of complex or high value disputes. She has a detailed and analytical eye which helps clients to prioritise the key issues in contention and quickly get to the core of a dispute.

Her experience includes complex contractual disputes, professional negligence proceedings, restrictive covenant claims, shareholder disputes, intervenor claims in financial remedy proceedings and pursuing and defending claims for injunctive relief.

Whilst her experience spans a number of sectors, she has particular expertise within the financial services and rail sectors. She leads the firm’s sector focus on rail and also chairs Women in Rail West Midlands.

Claire is also a member of the firm’s Shadow Board.
