The award recognises and celebrates our commitment and dedication to our learning and development strategy, which we bring to life through our in-house excellence and training centre – The Academy.

The team faced fierce competition but were ultimately successful due to the firm’s genuine interest in investing in its people. Judges were particularly impressed by the positive feedback from employees at all levels of the business.

Commenting on the success, our Head of Development, Jay Lutwyche said: “I am delighted to see The Academy recognised at these awards. We give everyone the time and opportunities to improve their skills in key areas such as management and leadership, sales and business development.

We look to dissolve barriers to progression by supporting performance in current roles and developing capabilities for the future. I’m really proud of what we have achieved so far and to be recognised at these awards is a fantastic accolade for the firm.”

Joint head of Shakespeare Martineau’s Stratford upon Avon office, Andrew Smith said: Developing our people is central to the firm’s strategy and something that is ingrained into the culture of our Stratford office.

We believe that our people are best able to help their clients across the Coventry and Warwickshire region when they work in an environment that supports them to build a fulfilling and rewarding career. The support from our national Academy plays a very important part of this support to our people locally. I am pleased the hard work put in by Jay and his team has been brought to life through our team here in the region.”
