We are proud partners of Women in Agriculture in Lincolnshire and on the behalf of WIA we would like to invite you to register your interest for the next event we will be hosting at Glebe Farm.
Experience the wonders of farming and environmental stewardship firsthand with Andrew Ward, owner of Glebe Farm in Leadenham. Join us for an exclusive farm walk and tractor trailer ride around his expansive farm, where Andrew will showcase the incredible efforts he puts into fostering biodiversity and caring for the environment.
One of the highlights of the tour will be Andrew’s pioneering work in growing a commercial crop of British variety Haricote beans for baked beans production. From the initial experimental stages to the recent expansion across 154 acres, Andrew will share the challenges, triumphs, and lessons learned along the way.
In addition to delving into the world of agriculture, guests will also gain valuable insights into the broader challenges faced by Andrew’s business in recent years, from navigating unpredictable weather patterns to investing in specialised equipment.
Following the tour of the farm with Andrew, you will be able to network with delegate and enjoy a BBQ and refreshments.
