About This Leadership Discussion
Thursday 23 November 2023 | 09:00 - 11:00
Registered providers are facing more challenges than ever, with increasing demand conflating with growing regulation and external issues such as supply chain pressures, the requirements of climate change/net zero and innovations in construction bringing further complexity.
The impact of the broader economic environment on the social housing sector can be counter-cyclical but an understanding of the likely economic picture in the short and medium term remains essential for coherent focus and planning.
This forums aims to explore the challenging effects of these competing elements and provide an innovative and collaborative exploration of possible solutions, looking both at the current position and developments which are likely in the near future.
Our Directors’ Forum will be chaired by Louise Drew, Head of Building Communities at Shakespeare Martineau and she will be joined by Malindi Myers, from the Bank of England, who will update on the latest economic projections and modelling issued by the Bank.
Location: Origin Workspace (Presentation Suite), 40 Berkeley Square, Bristol, BS8 1HP
