Alex is a Scottish Solicitor in our Commercial Property team in Edinburgh. Alex is a Member of The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple in England and Wales. He acts for clients on a wide range of property matters including commercial and residential developments, purchases, sales, and leases, and licences.
Alex acts in leases of Grade A office spaces in the Central Belt of Scotland, development acquisition transactions and sales of residential sites, multiple acquisitions, leasing, and licensing of buy to let shop premises. He advises landlords, tenants, and sub-tenants in the Edinburgh local community on various leasing and licensing aspects and issues.
He completed his Accelerated Dual Qualified LLB in Scots Law with English Law at the University of Aberdeen in 2021 and subsequently attended the University of Edinburgh for his Diploma in Professional Legal Practice which he graduated in 2022. Before his career as a Solicitor, he studied Philosophy and German at the University of Sussex and the University of Oxford. He also had extensive overseas in-house, governmental, international law firms’ and chambers’ experience in Hong Kong.
