My practice is grounded in both technical expertise and a deep understanding of the third sector, shaped by extensive in-house and pro bono experience. I am passionate about helping organisations deliver public benefit through innovative legal structures and strategic governance.
I advise a broad spectrum of clients including exempt and excepted charities, CIOs, charitable companies, CICs, B Corporations, and chartered bodies. My work spans complex governance reviews, restructurings, mergers, trustee disputes, and charity registrations. I maintain strong working relationships with the Charity Commission and regularly engage with them on regulatory matters. I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese and frequently assist high-net-worth individuals from overseas in establishing UK-based charities. I also serve on the executive committee of the Charity Law Association, contributing to policy development and sector-wide initiatives.
