Gemma has wide ranging experience in assisting both developers and landowners with all aspects of the planning process and highways matters. This includes negotiating S.106 agreements, unilateral undertakings and deeds of variation.

In addition, Gemma has also advised developers and landowners on highways and infrastructure agreements including both Section 278 agreements and Section 38 agreements. Alongside this Gemma has experience in contentious matters such as judicial review proceedings and compensatory claims in relation to HS2. This includes frequently dealing with compensatory payments arising out of HS2 claims due to permanent or temporary land acquisition.
