Full-service law firm Shakespeare Martineau has advised Torsion Group on a joint venture partnership with Housing Growth Partnership and funding from The Ingenious Group to deliver a major new £53 million build-to-rent development in Sheffield.

Situated in the city’s Cathedral Quarter, the Hollis Croft development comprises studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, and will provide tenants with a high-quality living experience.

Dan Spencer, chief executive at Torsion Group, said: “We are delighted to announce our joint venture with HGP to jointly fund these high-quality, build-to-rent apartments in the centre of Sheffield.

“HGP’s unique offering and approach to joint equity funding with Torsion has been key in bringing Hollis Croft in Sheffield to fruition.
