A hat-trick of award shortlists

We’ve had a successful couple of weeks, with the firm and our people being shortlisted for three prestigious awards.

Family Law Awards

Our family team has been shortlisted for Midlands & Wales Family Law Firm of the Year at the Family Law Awards 2020.

Over the past 11 years the awards have celebrated excellence and continue to recognise firms that go above and beyond for their clients and make a real difference and positive contribution to society.

The winners will be chosen by a judging panel made up of the heads of the Family Law Bar Association, Resolution, the Association of Lawyers for Children and the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (along with Family Law editors and publishing executives), and will be announced on Wednesday 25 November.

Women in Law Awards

Not one, but two of our colleagues have been shortlisted in the Women in Law Awards 2020Smita Jamdar for Legal Advisor of the Year and Kavita Patel for Dealmaker of the Year.

The awards showcase the inspiring achievements and innovations of women across all areas of legal practice, highlighting some of the most forward-thinking initiatives and helping to shape how diversity can be improved.

The winners will be announced at a virtual ceremony taking place on Wednesday 11 November.

East Midlands Leadership Awards

And last, but not least, we're delighted to announce that we've been shortlisted for Best Leadership Programme in this year's East Midlands Leadership Awards.

The awards, created by TheBusinessDesk.com, showcase the very best leaders and organisations across the East Midlands that have made a difference through a real desire to make things better.

Winners are to be announced on Thursday 5 November – fingers crossed!
