We all know the pressures of ensuring that the data you are holding is adequately secured and managed in the right way to protect your organisation, your residents and your other stakeholders. From ensuring your contract clauses are sufficiently robust, to having the right data protection frameworks in place to protect against breaches and respond to investigations should the worst happen – there is a lot to think about when it comes to data security.
This forum is designed to bring together anyone with responsibility for data within registered providers to network and collaborate, with a light input from our lawyers.
Our first forum will focus on subject access requests, data breaches and responding to a cyber attack. We will be starting with networking and breakfast rolls at 09:00 and the forum will start at 09:30, we aim to be wrapped up by 11:00.
Topics we are thinking of covering in future forums include consideration of data protection issues in Tenant Satisfaction Metrics and stock transfers. However, this is your forum so if there are any specific issues you would like us to cover please let us know by emailing events@shma.co.uk.
Please do feel free to forward this invite to any members of your organisation with responsibility for data, places are limited so please do book early to secure your place.
