HR and the menopause

HR and the menopause

Thursday 13th February 2020, 12:30 - 14:00
Shakespeare Martineau, Bridgeway House, Bridgeway, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 6YX
Who should attend? Senior HR professionals

This roundtable will consider the issues facing employers in dealing with an ageing workforce and the increased levels of awareness around the menopause.

Every woman’s experience of the menopause can be different and present a variety of symptoms which can lead to increased absence and lower levels of engagement and productivity.

The session will explore a number of key themes to allow discussion and generate thoughts, approaches and potential actions relating to:

  • Why it is important for employers to focus on this issue, with both their female and male employees
  • The legal obligations on employers, and common misconceptions
  • How employers can support all employees (not just those experiencing the menopause but line managers who are dealing with those experiencing it) and shared practices to create an inclusive workforce, and increase retention levels

Places are limited, so please book early to secure your place.
