We would like to welcome you to join our Women in Agriculture group for a farm walk at Rough Grounds Farm, kindly hosted by Graham, Justine, and Jess Worsey on their Dairy farm within the beautiful countryside of Cubley Derbyshire.
Justine will take us on a walk around their Dairy Farm, showing us their 300-cow dairy herd on a split block calving system heavily focused on milk from grass.
They have just invested in a new infrastructure, parlour, and covered feed yard.
Jess will show and talk us through the calf rearing system where they have improved the calving growth rate over the last few years.
The whole farm has been placed into the sfi herbal leys and the Worsey family will talk us through how they have achieved this.
