This She Rocks Business event will focus on the next generation of female business leaders.

Tackling the big questions – how can today’s leaders, support and champion them? How do we clear the path for success? And what are the biggest challenges they face as they step into leadership roles?

Our fantastic line up of speakers include:

Kavita Oberoi OBE  who you might recognise from her many TV appearances – from The Secret Millionaire, The Apprentice You’re Fired, BBC Breakfast, Question Time and many others. She’s one of the UK’s most respected entrepreneurs and social philanthropists, passionate about inspiring a new wave of business leaders.    She is also been named by the Bank of Scotland as one of Britain’s 100 Most Entrepreneurial Women in 2009 and awarded an OBE in 2014 for her services to entrepreneurship and start-up businesses.

Mariam Smith of Datalink Electronics Ltd began her career as a finance assistant and worked her way up to become Owner and Managing Director, a testament to her drive and determination. With over 15 years’ experience in the electronics manufacturing sector, she’s developed deep expertise in low to medium volume, high-tech production environments. And when she’s not leading from the front in business, she’s literally jumping out of planes – having completed a skydive in support of Epic Partners, a Nottingham-based community charity.

April Homer is Cooper Parry’s Chief People Officer, she’s responsible for shaping and driving the culture of the business. April’s a wellbeing enthusiast, author of The Dopamine Dilemma and a Certified Coach & Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist. She’s also listed on the Engagement101 list of global engagement influencers 2019-2025.

Expect an open, honest, and thought-provoking conversation, plus plenty of time to build relationships, exchange ideas, and support each other.

She Rocks Business is a joint initiative between Shakespeare Martineau and Cooper Parry, both committed to empowering the next generation of leaders. It’s a close-knit network for female leaders – a place to connect, learn and share experiences in a space that’s open, supportive and inspiring.
