Having advised Graystacks Exeter Limited on the development of a £15m Gross Development Value (GDV) new-build student accommodation block in Exeter and completed the main construction package of documents, we have continued to advise our Client in respect of issues arising on the site as works have progressed.
In particular, we offered guidance as the Client neared completion on complex arrangements for taking partial possession of the building to enable students to move in when works were not fully complete.
In this matter, we have added significant value to our Client by ensuring that mechanisms were put in place to enable our Client’s students to occupy their accommodation as necessary.
