• Immediate land – we are equipped to deal with all aspects relating to the acquisition and disposal of land , whether on a conditional or unconditional basis. We regularly deal with the acquisition and sale of serviced parcels within wider SUEs or indeed with the land assembly for an SUE. We work with you to structure deals in ways so as to reduce your exposure to market conditions
• Strategic land – is generally treated as a specialist area within our client’s businesses and we reflect that within our legal team. The prevalence of the use of options and promotion agreements , involving complex equalisation, rights of pre-emption, overage and land pooling has increased dramatically in recent years, all of which need specialist consideration and advice which we can provide
• Build to rent – is growing rapidly. The investment and ownership requirements combined with short to medium term rentals present a whole host of funding, tax, planning and construction issues which our teams are experts in dealing with.
