Meet the team

The IT team is responsible for providing clients and staff with high quality relevant technology, customised systems and superior service and support to ensure our business needs are always met. 

Based in the Birmingham office but also with a presence in Nottingham the team is around 40 strong and includes talented project managers, architects, developers, engineers, analysts, trainers and support people. This is an ever changing and exciting area to work in as we constantly look for new and innovative ways to provide the most effective solutions to the business.

The opportunity

This is an opportunity where you will be working fully remote in a team of 5-10 developers.

The company is currently undergoing a period of growth and is looking for ambitious developers who wish to grow with them. Working with the latest enterprise technology, such as Microsoft’s Blazor Framework, you will be responsible for building various applications using Web APIs and messaging systems. From a data perspective, you will work with SQL Server using T-SQL, and there are currently plans to move to the cloud in the near future, using Microsoft Azure.

Key skills and experience you will need:

We are keen to hear from individuals with circa 5+ years’ experience with the below tech stacks:

  • C# and .Net
  • SQL Server with experience writing Stored Procedures in T-SQL

It would also be beneficial if you demonstrate some experience / knowledge with the below products:

  • ASP.Net Web API
  • Entity Framework
  • JavaScript (React or other frameworks not necessary)
  • Source control with Git
  • Distributed systems using messaging systems.

Key competencies you will need:

  • to be enthusiastic and adaptable in your approach to development and technology
  • to have the ability to react to change and prioritise accordingly
  • to have a logical approach to problem solving
  • the drive and enthusiasm to be part of a bigger team working together to achieve team goals

Previous legal sector experience would be amazing, but we're an agile team and welcome applications from any sector background.

We appreciate that people have different needs and preferences and we’re keen to be flexible, after all, we value what you do, not where you do it.

We have hubs in Birmingham, Leicester, London, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, Solihull, Stratford-upon-Avon and Sheffield. This role will be predominantly home based with travel as required into Birmingham or one of our other UK based office hubs.
