Mark Merrell

Mark Merrell, Partner and Head of Corclaim, has overall responsibility for the Corclaim division of Shakespeare Martineau.

Mark has over 26 years experience in handling claims of all types from both a defendant and claimant perspective, with a particular specialism representing victims of road accidents. He has significant technical expertise in handling all aspects of such claims and in particular claims involving the Motor Insurers’ Bureau.

Mark has high level management experience from his previous role in a top 20 law firm. He was responsible for the management of large teams of people and sat on the Management Board for the firm’s Motor division, contributing to the division’s strategy and growth as well as high level input into system design.
