Farah is a legal director in the Real Estate Disputes department at Shakespeare Martineau’s London office acting for commercial and private clients advising on a wide range of both commercial and residential property related matters.

Farah has experience in advising on general commercial disputes as well as commercial and residential real estate disputes, which is the area she now specialises in. She likes to adopt creative solutions, settlement strategies and tactics to achieve early resolution of disputes where possible. A large part of Farah’s work is advisory in nature. This includes providing portfolio management advice dealing with freehold and leasehold property (terminations, lease renewals etc.), advice on compliance with legislation, dilapidations advice and more. When providing advice, she aims to tailor advice to meet her clients aims and objectives.

Farah also has experience in third party funding and after the event insurance having worked at a litigation funder. This means that she is able to look at the bigger picture and consider and discuss with clients the commercial and financial aspects of bringing any claim.
