About This Seminar

Thursday 21 March 2024 | 08:00 - 10:30

More and more landowners and developers are entering into collaboration agreements to bring forward development and there are many different issues to consider before entering into such arrangements.   Whether it is the splitting of costs, what happens if things don’t go to plan, or the mechanics of development and sales, all can be covered if careful consideration is given to the terms at the outset.  We will give you some tips on how to approach collaboration. We hope you can join us for hints, tips and tricks on collaboration agreements and the documentation of equalisation from our strategic land legal team.

Following publication of the revised National Planning Policy Framework in December 2023, the Government has since sought to clarify how its new policies are to be applied, particularly around the interpretation of Paragraph 226 (concerning 4-year and 5-year housing land supply positions), amending the Planning Practice Guidance on 5th February 2024. The Marrons team will be discussing these points in detail from a planning consultancy perspective, including the regional opportunities this can generate. Our legal planning team at Shakespeare Martineau will also consider the legal perspective.

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and discuss some of the issues affecting strategic land in particular.

We look forward to catching up with you over a delicious breakfast.
