A trio of senior promotions have given our East Midlands real estate team cause to celebrate. Louise Ingram is the new head of the Leicester team and Peter Dilks the head of the Nottingham team. They will be supported by Brendan Walsh, who has taken on a broader role with responsibility for the growth of the East Midlands real estate offering.

Promoting ambitious talent from within is essential in keeping the firm evolving. Louise and Peter will be bringing their positive and commercial outlooks to the role, providing a focus on the Leicester and Nottingham markets, whilst working with Brendan to create new opportunities in the East Midlands.

Louise’s well-established network of connections in the local market, working on a wide range of strategic land schemes and Peter’s specialisation in commercial and residential development, with a focus on renewable and flexible energy generation, will help further bolster an already-burgeoning client base. Brendan’s extensive knowledge and experience will fit well with the two new East Midlands real estate heads.

Talking of her new role, Louise said: “East Midlands real estate is at an exciting stage, with the opportunities available in the region being recognised both nationally and internationally. Becoming head of the Leicester team at such a time is an excellent chance to get involved with the ambitious schemes that are taking place. I look forward to being part of promoting what the region has to offer.”

Peter added: “There are some excellent commercial and residential development opportunities arising in Nottingham and Leicester, and the number of opportunities is sure to increase. Being made head of Nottingham real estate during this period of growth makes this role even more exciting. Seeing the region develop a reputation for high quality living and working is what makes the job so exciting.”

Real estate has become a top priority for the firm, with the team involved in a number of high-profile projects, such as the New Lubbesthorpe settlement, Leicester’s strategic waterside regeneration scheme, the Fosse Retail Park extension and Nottingham’s east side regeneration.

Brendan commented: “Talent flows throughout the East Midlands real estate team, and the promotions of Louise and Peter will only add to its brilliance. We are lucky that there is a huge variety of work for us to be involved with, from large multi-use schemes and builds in the PRS to new hotels and housing developments. The team is sure to go from strength to strength and I hope to see the firm’s real estate offering in the region continuing to grow in the years to come.”
