Recognising and rewarding talent is an important part of our ethos, and we’re pleased to announce the latest round of promotions across the firm, as well as the appointment of three newly-qualified solicitors.

The Birmingham office has seen a number of promotions, with four lawyers rising to the rank of associate and two newly qualified solicitors. Jennie Davis, a corporate finance specialist; Emma Oliver, a member of the employment team; Grace Strawford, in asset finance; and Ben Humphreys, who works in dispute resolution, have all received associate promotions. Laura Taylor, part of the construction team, and Samantha Vaughan, in real estate, are newly-qualified solicitors and will be working alongside our Birmingham-based teams.

Across the firm’s other offices, Lucy Saddington, who works in the real estate team in London, has been promoted to associate, and Daniel Robinson-Wells in the Stratford-upon-Avon team of Marrons Planning, part of Shakespeare Martineau, has received a promotion to principal planner. The Nottingham office has also seen Hannah Awcock qualify as a solicitor within the real estate team.

Helen Hay, our head of HR, said: “The growth of the firm relies on the promotion of fresh talent. Our in-house Academy has supported each of our associates and newly-qualified solicitors through helping to sharpen their client service skills and aiding with their personal development. The individual abilities and experiences that our new associates will bring to their respective teams and offices are invaluable.

“Ambition and a hard-working mindset are things we encourage at the firm. This clutch of promotions demonstrates how each new associate and newly-qualified solicitor has embraced an entrepreneurial mentality that will lead to continued success in their futures at the firm. We look forward to being able to watch them grow and develop even further.”
