Unless events really do take an unexpected and dramatic turn, the United Kingdom will leave the European Union (EU) at midnight (Brussels time) on 29th March 2019. Whether that departure will be planned and orderly, or a fall down the proverbial cliff edge, is at the time of writing still unclear.

So how will the energy sector – both in the UK and in the rest of the EU – be impacted by the so-called Brexit?
