Kaleigh is an associate in the Energy and Projects team with a specialism in UK and EU regulatory law and policy. Before joining our team, Kaleigh spent 4 years (until 2016) working as a member of the in house legal team at energy regulator Ofgem. That role enabled her to develop an insight into regulatory decision-making, a particular specialism in EU energy law, and gain experience advising on the design and implementation of the EU’s Network Codes.
Prior to working at Ofgem, Kaleigh developed a practice in general public and regulatory law through roles at the Gambling Commission, the Nursing and Midwifery Council and the Insolvency Service.
Recent experience includes: advising on aspects of EU Network Codes, advising on judicial review risk around regulatory decision-making, and providing legal support on information requests and enforcement activity.
