Shakespeare Martineau scoops Legal Team of the Year

Shakespeare Martineau’s debt recovery team has been recognised as legal team of the year at the Chartered Institute of Credit Management, British Credit Awards.

The annual awards showcase and celebrate outstanding performance and innovation shown by individuals and organisations across the UK working in credit management.  The event, now in its 5th year, brought together the credit industry's leading figures at the Lancaster London on Wednesday 7th February.

Jayne Gardner, head of debt recovery at Shakespeare Martineau, said “We’re delighted to receive this award and be recognised for our high quality service at a national level by the credit industry. It sends a strong message to the sector that we are the best legal team.”

“To be recognised at the Chartered Institute of Credit Management Annual Awards is a real honour and is testament to the work the team have done with multiple clients around the UK. We’ve worked hard to build up our national practice, dealing with high profile cases and delivering innovative practical solutions to our clients.”

Further information on the awards and winners can be found on the CICM website.

"We’re delighted to be at the beginning of a partnership between two teams who share the same winning spirit and focus on supporting talent to achieve their potential. Everyone here has a great sense of pride and excitement to be working with Team England – a team that, after all, reflects just how much can be achieved by a diverse and varied group of individuals all focused on one goal. We can’t wait to get started."
