Energy Sector Predictions for 2016

Now that we have settled into 2016, it seems timely to make some energy sector predictions for the rest of the year.

2015 provided a mixed bag across the sector, with two central and persistent themes of cuts to renewables subsidies, including withdrawal of support for carbon capture and storage, combined with a dramatic decline in oil and gas prices. But the year ended on a relatively positive note with the much anticipated COP21 climate change conference in Paris.

Here, in no particular order, are our top five predictions for 2016.
